1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Ohmframe's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Services

Ohmframe provides power electronics engineering consulting services including:

Thermal management design and simulation
CFD and FEA analysis
Mechanical and enclosure design
EMI/EMC compliance consulting
Sheet metal and DFM optimization
Technical consultation and design reviews

3. Project Engagement

All project engagements will be governed by a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or service agreement that outlines specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing. These Terms of Service apply in addition to any project-specific agreements.

4. Intellectual Property

Client IP: You retain ownership of all intellectual property you provide to us for project work.

Deliverables: Upon full payment, you receive ownership of custom deliverables created specifically for your project, unless otherwise specified in the project agreement.

Our IP: Ohmframe retains ownership of our methodologies, tools, templates, and pre-existing intellectual property.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not disclose your project details, technical specifications, or business information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements
Fixed-price packages require payment as specified in the package terms
Hourly work is billed monthly in arrears
Late payments may incur additional fees

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

We provide services with professional care and skill. However, engineering consulting is advisory in nature. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, certification results, or product performance.

Final design decisions and implementation responsibility rest with the client. We recommend independent verification of critical design parameters.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ohmframe's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

9. Website Use

The calculators and tools on our website are provided for informational purposes only. Results should be verified by qualified engineers before use in production designs.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice as specified in the project agreement. Upon termination, you will be billed for work completed through the termination date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
